Merit Cum Means Scholarship For Professional and Technical Courses for Minorities

The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial support to the meritorious students who belong to lower income group communities to pursue technical and professional courses. Students who belong to Sikhs, Jain, Buddhists, Muslims and Parsis can also get benefits from this scheme providing that they have secured more than 50% in all previous exams and their family annual income should be less than INR 2.5 Lakhs.

A scholarship amount of INR20,000 per annum or complete fees whichever is less and a full course fee is reimbursed for 85 recognised listed institutions. Additionally a maintenance allowance is provided for class 11th and 12th and INR 1000/- per month for hosteller and INR500/- per month for Day scholar for 10 months per year.
