The main objective of this scheme is to provide scholarships to meritorious students of financial weakness to stop them from dropping out at class 8th and to motivate them to carry forward their studies at secondary stage and so on. This scheme is available to all the students who have secured more than 55% or equal grade in their 7th exams and their parental income should not exceed more than INR 1,50,000/- per annum from all sources.

Students who are studying from 9th to 12th in government aided, local body and state government schools are provided with a scholarship of INR 12000/- annually at the rate of INR 1000/month. This scholarship is provided on yearly basis for regular students and it will be for a maximum period of 4 years.
